EH-2 and EH-3 hydrolysis catalysts

EH-2 and EH-3 hydrolysis catalysts

Hydrolysis catalyst

1、 Preface
Although T504 organic sulfur hydrolysis catalyst has been widely used in industry, it is prone to sulfate poisoning when applied in atmospheres containing O2and H2S, and the poisoning effect is exacerbated by increasing temperature. The Gas Purification Center of Hubei Institute of Chemistry, with the support of China Petrochemical Corporation, has developed EH-2 and EH-3 anti sulfation organic sulfur hydrolysis catalysts after years of research. In January 1998, the appraisal conducted by the Petrochemical Corporation confirmed that the catalyst was an international first.
This catalyst can be used for the conversion of organic sulfur COS and CS2, RSH, etc. in coal gas, shift gas, coke oven gas, and various chemical feed gases.

Its characteristics are:
(1) Wide active temperature range (180-350 ℃), (2) fast reaction rate (space velocity 1000-6000h-1), (3) strong resistance to sulfate poisoning, (4) good selectivity, no side reactions such as CO shift and methane formation on the catalyst.
